Dr. Hupp earned his Ph.D. from the University of North Texas in Health Psychology & Behavioral Medicine.
He has served as a disability consultative examiner for the Social Security Administration, Veteran's Administration, and several state agencies.
Dr. Hupp has taught at the graduate and undergraduate level, written a book chapter on child brain injury, co-normed an IQ test for blind/visually impaired persons, and presented at state and national level conferences.

Dr. Hupp started his practice in neuropsychology with a focus on traumatic brain injury (TBI) and intellectual / developmental disorders.
He now provides criminal forensic psychological services that include competency to stand trial evaluations, mitigation of sentence evaluations, mental status at time of offense evaluations, and neuropsychological evaluations for capital death and non-death cases.
